Did you lose the form for completing your
order that we mailed to you? Please e-mail us at the appropriate
address below to request an additional form.
Carefully pack your photographs and, when appropriate, your audio-tapes,
in an air-bubble mailer or padded envelope, along with the completed order
form indicating text and photograph placement. For added protection, place
a piece of stiff cardboard inside the mailer and write "Photographs:
Do not bend" on the outside of the package. If you are sending us
an audiotape, it is best to place your photographs between two
pieces of stiff cardboard. Note: For additional peace of mind, we highly
recommend you duplicate your oral history/family stories onto another
audio-cassette. However, please mail us the original so that our transfer
onto CD is made from the highest-quality recording possible.
We protect your photographs by placing them, upon receipt, in an archival,
acid-free polypropylene sleeve strengthened with an archival board to
prevent bending or creasing. After we complete the creation of your new
Gifts of the Past keepsakes, we place your photographs between two
archival boards inside the sleeve, and ship them along with your new keepsakes--and
audio-tapes when appropriate--in a protective bubble mailer, padded envelope,
or box.
All items will be shipped via UPS so that we may track your package. Whatever
service you choose to ship your photographs/tapes tous,
we highly recommend you get a tracking number so that you can trace your
package if necessary. Please allow two weeks--after we've received your
completed order form--for delivery of your new keepsakes.
All prices are in U.S. dollars and include a gift box or pouch, and shipping
and handling within the continental United States--at no extra charge.
If you are outside the continental U.S., please contact
us for shipping prices.
We are certain that you will be happy with your new keepsakes. However,
in the rare instance that you feel you must return an item, please contact
us for return instructions. Upon our receipt of your item/s we will issue
a refund to your credit card account. However, because our keepsakes are
personalized and can not be resold, it is necessary for Gifts of the Past
to charge a 20% fee on all returns to cover our shipping, handling, and
material costs. So please be sure to contact
us to ask any questions you might have before placing your order.
We make every effort to protect your photographs and audio-tapes. If damage
does occur to your artifacts during shipping, Gifts of the Past can not
be held responsible. However, we will gladly recreate your Gifts of the
Past keepsakes if they are damaged during shipment. Simply return the
items to us and we will promptly replace them upon receipt. If you have
