Vintage Fisher Sterling Weighted Base With Fine Etched Glass Fluted Bud Vase For Your Sterling Collection or to Decorated Your Home Details Description: A very nice vintage etched fine glass fluted bud vase with a weighted Sterling Silver base. The Glass portion of the vase has a beautiful etched floral design on the outside. It also has a fluted shape with scalloped and flared outwardly top. The base has a flat base which rises in sloped fashion to a neck which then rises to a cup like shape where the bottom of the glass portion, which is also made of sterling silver, screws on. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of the description. Date: Mid 20th century Origin: USA Size: 3″ in diameter at the base, 2 1/4″ diameter at the top, and is 11 1/2″ high. Maker: Fisher Silver Co. Marks: On the bottom the words “Fisher Sterling Weighted; 1191.” Distinguishing Characteristics – Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a very nice bud vase that is nice and very decorative. Condition: The bud vase is in great shape given its age and use. It has no cracks or rapiers. It does have a small and minor chip to the edge of the rim of the glass vase that is hard to see, but is there. Please see photos for additional condition information. The urns have a guilloche body with geometric elements and covers decorated with leaves. In both sides of the body they have hands. They have at least 133 years old! Dated Hallmarks with French Apollo head in use between 11 July 1840 and 1 April 1879 for export item and Sterling Silver .925 Size They measure 63mm long (2.48 inches), 50mm (1.97 inches) maximum diameter and 64mm (2.52 inches) high Total weight 120gram (3.86 troy ounces) Condition They are in very good condition. grahamcollectables Store SILVER AND GLASS CRYSTAL BUD VASE LONDON 1930 Here for auction is a lovely cut crystal and silver rimmed bud vase.Hallmarked sterling silver, London 1930 with a makers mark of Henry Hobson & Sons, Houndsditch, London & Carver Street, Sheffield.Measures approx 169mm tall and the diameter at the top of the vase is 80mm.The crystal is in very good condition with only the odd very small nibble consistent with its age and use. C / 1920 / POST SEASON RACE / FIRST PRIZE / WON BY KIM.” The vase weighs 11.1 ounces and is properly hallmarked upon the base; BLACK, STARR & FROST 33. hi, up for sale is a nice sterling silver overlay on crystal vase it stands about 10 inches tall, 2 inches at opening, and about 2 3/4 inches at widest point. the silver band is 1 1/4 inch on top opening only also on inside of vase. i dont know who made this vase there are no markings just a sticker that reads sterling silver on crystal. it is in very good condition inside of vase could use cleaning, no chips or cracks, silver has slight wear on the edge of opening, still a very nice vase i accept paypal only, U.S. shipping only if you have any questions please ask before buying, thanks for looking
