Gifts of the Past




	Gifts of the Past--a home-based business located in Framingham, Massachusetts--developed as an outgrowth of our passion for documenting our own family history. Not surprisingly, our home is joyously crowded with old family photographs. We hope to help you similarly celebrate your interests in family heritage.


	Anita is an oral historian, curator of her family's history, and co-creator of the web site www.italianamericanwomen.com, which is a celebration of her family's heritage and of Italian-American women. As a member of a local historical society, she has helped orchestrate two community-based oral history projects and has taught the craft of oral history to both teachers and students. Her knowledge of and passion for the art of preserving and sharing memories is the inspiration for Gifts of the Past.

Joe is a business strategist specializing in brand, business, and Internet strategy. For more than two decades, he has created photographs, movies, and video and audio programs. Joe brings to the Gifts of the Past team a great appreciation for sharing histories. Nominated for an Academy Award as a producer, awarded an MFA from The American Film Institute, and as a former Development Executive at the Disney Channel, he understands the importance and value of stories and storytelling.


	Bobby is a web designer and graphic artist. With several years’ experience under his belt, Bobby creates computer graphics and builds web site interfaces. To date, his efforts have helped give visual form to three web sites. Bobby brings to the Gifts of the Past team skills he’s derived through a variety of educational experiences, including study at both Montessori and Summerhill-style schools.


	Elena is a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and drawing from the Massachusetts College of Art. She has designed and illustrated a multitude of brochures, posters, and catalogs for both corporate and academic institutions. Elena is the primary designer of our products and her expertise in the fine arts adds a unique perspective to the Gifts of the Past team.
